James Reff has been the pastor of Grace Community in Chestertown, MD since November of 2016.  Previously, James interned and served as an associate pastor just outside of Kansas City, Missouri.  James is originally from Indiana and attended Word of Life Bible Institute in New York and Appalachian Bible College where he met his wife, Mindy.  They have been married for 16 years and have 4 children, Denton, Mollie, Chloe and Lucy.  James was burdened at a young age to serve the Lord and has a heart for evangelism.  In his free time, he enjoys anything to do with the outdoors.

Trace Haines has been the Assistant Pastor at Grace Community Church since May of 2022. Originally from Carroll County, Maryland, Trace spent 27 years as a technician with Verizon. Before that he worked for Campus Life in Pennsylvania and Cru in the Middle East doing church planting. Trace has a B.A. from Washington Bible College (1982) and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological D.C. (2019). Trace has been married to Renee since 1998, and they have 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Trace enjoys history, most sports and exploring new places with Renee.
